15 Jun, 2026

Applications are now open for the CHEDDAR Hub Summer School 2026, taking place from 6–8 July 2026 at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor.
Designed for postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers, the Summer School offers a unique opportunity to explore emerging developments in 6G and advanced connectivity while learning from leading experts from the EPSRC-funded CHEDDAR Hub and invited speakers.
This year’s programme will focus on three key research areas shaping the future of communications:
- Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC)
- AI-RAN
- Over-The-Air Computing (OTAC)
Over two and a half intensive days, participants will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge concepts and novel approaches in advanced connectivity, take part in presentations, training sessions and interactive workshops, discuss their research directly with experienced academics, and build valuable connections with fellow researchers.
Set within the historic surroundings of Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park, the Summer School is designed to encourage collaboration, discussion and peer-to-peer learning. The unique setting provides an ideal environment for researchers to exchange ideas, develop new perspectives and expand their professional networks.
The Summer School is open to:
- Postgraduate research students seeking to broaden their expertise and professional networks.
- Postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers within five years of receiving their PhD award.
Accommodation, catering and transportation between all scheduled Summer School activities are included within the programme. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own travel to and from Cumberland Lodge.
