Dr Lubna joins Imperial College as a Research Associate

Dr. Lubna recently joined Imperial College London as a Research Associate. She brings extensive expertise in Telecommunication Engineering, with a specialization in RF Sensing and Microwave Engineering.
Dr. Lubna earned her PhD in Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on “Design, Fabrication and Analysis of RFID Tag Antennas for IoT Applications.” She has contributed to numerous research projects involving RF sensing technology, including contactless health monitoring, smart parking systems, and IoT-enabled vehicle recognition. Prior to joining Imperial College London, Dr. Lubna worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow on the CHEDDAR-EPSRC Project, where she contributed to research in RF sensing technologies.
Her work spans across multiple innovative applications including IoT-enabled vehicle recognition systems using inkjet-printed RFID tags, and contactless privacy-preserving solutions for healthcare monitoring.
Dr. Lubna has established an impressive publication record with her research featured in notable journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal, Scientific Reports, and Internet of Things (IoT) Journal. As a Global Talent Visa holder under the Exceptional Promise route in the UK, she brings six years of research experience and technical expertise in various RF equipment, CAD tools, and programming languages that support her innovative research in wireless technology applications.
